Some pots are made to cook. This one is made to tell a story. The Cristel 1826® Stewpot with Glass Lid carries the silhouette of the world’s first stamped saucepan — born in our Burgundy factory two centuries ago — into your modern kitchen, without compromising a single degree of performance.
The tapered stainless steel body nests compactly for storage, while the three-layer heat-diffusing base (induction stainless steel – aluminum – 18/10 stainless steel) ensures rapid, even heat distribution for soups, stews, and slow-cooked dishes that reward patience.
The rounded borosilicate glass lid retains moisture, enhances heat distribution, and withstands oven temperatures up to 400°F — so you can start on the stovetop and finish in the oven without switching vessels. The polished stainless steel knob stays cool for safe, comfortable handling.

Please notify us immediately of any issues with your order. We can be reached at the address below: https://account.myfrenchstore.com If after communicating with our customer service team, within 7 days of receipt, your order is deemed non-satisfactory, we will accept returns within 30 days from the date of purchase. A $25.00 restocking fee applies to all returns.
Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Return Eligibility by Request (In Absence of Defect)*: We must have received documentation by picture(s) of the issue within 7 days of receipt and 30 days of purchase.The item must be in new / unused condition. Please do notdiscard any original packaging!
You must include a copy of your original packing slip with your returned package.Once shipped, please provide tracking information to contact@myfrenchstore.com
Non-Eligible Returns*: The item(s) are not in original condition, items are damaged, or parts are missing for reasons beyond our control. Documentation has not been received within 7 days of receipt, or it is beyond the 30 day return window.
Returns Under Warranty*: Upon receipt of your order, if there is defect or damage present on the item(s), we will provide a return label for delivery to your nearest FedEx location.
We will replace the defective or damaged item free of charge under our limited warranty – or, a refund for the amount paid per your request. Exchanges are not accepted unless covered under the warranty returns policy stated above.
